Since inception more than 26 years ago, Eezi-Awn has strived for perfection and has long been synonymous with service and quality for rooftop tents, retractable awnings and other products it manufactures and distributes across Africa, and to all corners of the World. Eezi-Awn has never professed to have invented the rooftop tent as we know it today. In fact the unit originated as early as 1958 in Italy. However, Eezi-Awn are the pioneers throughout the World of the following innovations:
1. The large rectangular side windows with canopies supported by spring steel rods and copied by many other manufacturers.
2. The large floating rain/fly sheet supported by aluminium bows and springsteel rods over entrances fore and aft of the rooftent.

Eezi-Awn only uses in-house designed and manufactured anodised aluminium extrusions in the construction of all its products. Anodising prevents chipping (powder coated products) and oxidation. Oxidation affects milled (raw) aluminium products covering them with a residue that rubs off on the Rooftent fabric and hands: good reasons why Eezi-Awn is one of the largest manufacturers of RECVEE Equipment.

They are made from 280 gms/sqm Polyester/cotton ripstop material and also Fluoro carbon coated with a lightweight vacuum laminated composite base construction. An aluminium mounting extrusion is supplied. The Series II tent comes with internal ladder access to tent and a zip integrated annex tent.
